Veronica Blackburn y Cía. Ltda. started up in yellow store at Los Dos Caracoles in Providencia on June 13, 1982.
This place created by the cook Verónica Blackburn, used to be
a workshop store where lessons were taken in order to share this
cooking art with the family. The items used in the elaboration
of these delicious recipes learned in class were also sold in
this store.
In 1998, the Project moved to a big, yellow house in Alonso de
Cordova Avenue. Still, the essence of the original store is kept:
“The art of cooking with the family “but a larger scale. In this
cozy and spacious place you can find personalized cooking lessons
as well as tempting aromas, just like the ones from our grandmas’
kitchen. Here, you will learn techniques and tips to make exquisite
recipes with your own fresh and original touch.
At Verónica Blackburn’s, we are constantly looking for the preservation
and the recovery of the true cooking art , making people stop
eating frozen food heated in microwave ovens , recovering this
way, the pleasure of cooking and enjoying food made with love.
